and that the international waters are open to all mariners, legitimate mariners. that is sort of a maritime security operation part of this. that is our goal, is to make sure these international waters, international straits remain open for legitimate maritime reasons. and if you ever, if you took a snapshot of the, up in the north arabian gulf how many ships there are coming and going, how many world economy is coming in and out of there, then, you would understand that it is important that it keeps going. melissa: one thing we're mindful of as we're out here, we have a backdrop of sequestration, across the board funding cuts. and i know that's not what you do but what is the impact, how valuable is the money spent here, let me ask it that way? >> well, it's really, i think it all goes back to this global economy and the global village that we live in now. you know the money spent here, it is an investment to keep this global commerce going. and so without that investment, we, you know, we can only speculate what might happen if we weren't here. melissa: and let'
